Today we meet Snow Wildsmith, organizer of the Graphic Novels category:
I'm a teen librarian for the Public Library of Charlotte and
Mecklenburg County in Charlotte, NC. I'm also a book reviewer writing
for Booklist, VOYA, and ICv2's Guide, as well as websites such as
Manganews.net, reviewing graphic novels,
manga, anime, and teen fiction and non-fiction.
As an active member of the American Library Association and the Young Adult Library Services Association, I have served on several selection committees, including the 2007 Great Graphic Novels for Teens committee and the 2008 and 2009 Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults committees. I have also just had the honor of being appointed to the 2010 Michael L. Printz Award committee.
This is my third year serving on the Cybils. For the first two years I represented my personal blog as a judge for the Graphic Novels Awards. This year, I'm representing Good Comics For Kids.

Wow, am I submitting the first nomination in this category? I'd like to nominate Rapunzel's Revenge by Shannon, Dean, and Nathan Hale. This genre-bender retells the Rapunzel story with a Western twist. Page-turning fun, nice art, and themes worth thinking about.
