A Colorful Morning

It was a quiet Saturday morning. The kids needed something to do, and I needed to go out and run an errand. My wife was asleep (she works nights.)

I pulled out a small package of food dyes and showed them how to mix colors in jars. Then I showed the kids how to mix the colors into different food products, such as mayonnaise.

When I came home and took this picture, they were happily mixing away.

Santa brought a science kit that has turned into a mixing household liquids (mostly juices) to see what colors it makes. Inside fun for hours!
