My name is Deborah Haar Clark. I’m 36 and the mother of two funny, busy, smart, beautiful daughters. My oldest aspires to be a princess, a fairy, a ballerina and a pilot. My 1-year-old’s favorite things include dancing, laughing and resisting sleep as much as is humanly possible.
My husband is such a kind, generous, loving man that I sometimes wonder what I did to deserve him; if he’d clean the house and do the dishes he’d be damn near perfect.
In my former life, I earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and was a reporter for several Southern California newspapers. I also did some work in public relations, mostly at a couple of small, private colleges.
Now I’m a freelance writer and copyeditor, picking up assignments as my childcare responsibilities allow. I’ve been known to do phone interviews with a baby screaming in the background, but I prefer not to.
Deb’s first review appears Wednesday.
I'm so glad you're going to be helping Anne.
