It's looking iffy for posts this week. The hubby's away for bidness and I'm alone with the monsterlings, who woke me three times last night, once because the shutters weren't closed all the way and "I can see the trees." Horrors!
Then I got a wrong number in the middle of a horrible, weird-ass dream involving a McDonald's and some neo-Nazis. I didn't know it was possible for my heartbeat to break the sound barrier.
So, about three hours shut-eye total. I should add this is the third night in a row of my kids' sleep deprivation experiment.
Will definitely be back Friday for the poetry meme. Can't promise anything sooner. Meanwhile, I've got an appointment with some skinheads and a deep fryer. Zzzzzz ...
I can totally relate to the scary trees, especially when there is wind and the branches look like tentacles.

Okay, you actually make a good point. They did look pretty creepy in the predawn gloaming. I was just irritable.

Neil, can you come by and babysit for a day or so?

Oh, poor Anne! I hate being abandoned with the 2 kids (though it's getting easier now). Hang in there :)
