Nice review, Brett. I think my little one (5) would like this book.

Thanks. I think most kids, but especially boys, will like this one.

I picked this book up at the library and my 20-month old LOVES it! It has great pictures that he enjoys looking at and a nice story to go with it - we have read it so many times that he now has it memorized and can continue on when I pause. My husband and I enjoy reading it too!

I think it perfectly captures how little boys play, the optimism and adventurousness, the "oops" factor, the satisfaction of a job well done.

Another great book that also gets you inside a boy's cheerfully active imagination is Mini Grey's Traction Man, if you're interested.
