I've been tagged for a meme from Mentor Texts to share 10-15 professional goals for the summer. That's quite a lot, considering my ambitions are usually no more lofty than getting everyone to bed on time -- myself included.
Okay, so here goes:
- Finish work on my rhyming kids' book, write the query letter and get that sucker off to literary agents and editors;
- Try not to spend the entire summer fretting about rejection letters;
- Pack up the apartment yet again for a move;
- Find a new apartment that's big enough for all four of us PLUS our shtoof PLUS all the other shtoof still in storage in California;
- Spend as much time as I can with a very sick relative during this person's final months;
- Try not to spend the entire summer fretting about the very sick relative;
- Use Seth's longer daycamp hours to get more shopping and chores done;
- Line up some fabulous contributors for the Poetry Foundation (email me if you have article suggestions);
- Pull more weight over at Viewpoints, where I've been slacking lately;
- Meet Kelly in July at long last and begin work on the BEST EVER Cybils!
And, oh yeah, try and relax a bit. Without fretting.
And it's my turn to tag:

Awrighty, now, let's get to work. I gotta lot to do ...
Hi Anne,
Thanks for the tag! I'm swamped today getting ready for a trip, but I'll try to respond this weekend. Food for thought, indeed...
