It's my solemn duty as a kidlit blogger to pass along seriously time-wasting links with dubious educational value. Take my snowflakes post, for example.
I have my son's art teacher to blame for this next one. She taught a unit on Jackson Pollock and had all the kids dripping paint from yogurt cups with holes punched in the bottom. Where was this woman when I was in kindergarten?
She passed along a link to try this at home, without a drop cloth.
The images are my son's creations, which we saved using SnagIt (nothing else worked). All rights to your mouse dribblings are retained by the artist who invented the program.
I'm thinking of making placemats from ours. You can do that with self-laminating sheets you buy from Staples.
Oh, and here's the art teacher's site.
omg. i will never forgive you for this one! what's snagIt? i wanna save mine too.
