You can feel safe knowing your lists of nominees will go to our trusty panelists, who will then have a good chuckle at your expense, toss your suggestions and vote for their best friends.
Scared ya, didn't I?
The panelists are the finest group of unrepentent bookworms and kidlit fetishists to ever set their sticky fingers on a keyboard. What, you're not taking my word for it?
Okay, okay, here's the list. Or at least, here's what the organizers turned in to me so far.
If you're similarly obsessed, by the way, there are still openings on many of our panels. Put your name and blog URL in our comments and I'll forward it along.
Update: I'm happy to announce there's only one more opening, in the Graphic Novels category. Thank you, volunteers!

Hi Stasia:
Just take a look at the left side bar and find the administrating blog for the category you're most interested in. Send 'em an e-mail volunteering yourself.
If you have trouble finding an e-mail address, drop me a line at [email protected]
Best,
Kelly

I'm a published author and an editor for middle grade, young adult nonfiction. I'd love to volunteer.

Stasia: Let me know what panel you'd like to be on and I'll send your name along.
Ida: I forwarded your name to Mindy, who's in charge of that committee.
Thanks, both of you, for offering to help. I hope it works out!

I'm a Youth Services Librarian, currently serving on the Great Graphic Novels for Teens committee (2007) for the Young Adult Library Services Association. I would be happy to be on a panel or be a judge for anything YA or for graphic novels or for fantasy/science fiction. Just let me know how I can help. I'm a new blogger, but I'm eager to become part of the community.
