Mama Librarian (aka Maggi Idzikowski), one of our Round I panelists for Graphic Novels this year, has a fun and unique ratings system for the books she reviews on her site. Not only does she look at Illustrations and Personages, but she moves beyond those to consider Wordsmithing, Mesmerizitude, and just plain Awesomeness.
One of our Cybils-nominated titles that got a pretty respectable Awesomeness score is Jarrett J. Krosoczka's Lunch Lady and the League of Librarians. This is the second in Krosoczka's (type that three times fast!) Lunch Lady series, and follows Lunch Lady and her loyal sidekicks in their quest to foil some dastardly librarians. Obviously they do not represent ALL librarian-kind, since Mama Librarian herself gave the book a thumbs-up:

I LOVE those Lunch Lady books. I ordered copies for both of my elementary libraries because they are just so fun.
