Just a quick post to say I lied. Apparently I wrote “Beach. Sun. Family.” Well, two out of three isn’t bad. Unfortunately, fog has dominated the skyline the first few days of our vacation. The sun teased us late in the afternoon, just before sunset.
But despite what my wife wrote, I’m having a great time. Even a dent in the new minivan and wet weather can’t dampen my enthusiasm. I relish this free time with my wife, son and daughter.
I’m getting to see Lael smile nonstop – except when she’s feeding – and Seth loved playing on the high-tide flooded beach. Hiking near Moro Bay was even more fun.
By the way, Lael decided to grow six inches this trip. Even though she just turned three months old, she exploded out of her 3-6 month clothes and is ready for the next size. She hasn’t even worn half of what friends and family have already bought her.
hey, here it's cloudy but 35 degrees and raining... So consider yourself lucky!
Glad you're having a great time, I loved those times we just all hung out together right after BK was born. Enjoy!

She didn't really grow six inches, it just seems that way. But she is in a growth spurt that keeps her Mommy up all night feeding her. Since she's such a smiley puss, though, who can get mad?

It's been in the 60s, which doesn't bother me in the least. I do feel bad for Anne, though. Lael is a feeding machine.

Try the Farmer's Market in San Luis Obispo on Thursday night. Will brighten any fog!

Morro Bay... that brings back memories.
That was the last family vacation we took before my dad skipped off to start a new life.

Amy: Thanks.
Phil: Oh man. But I still love Moro Bay.
