Teach your children well. It's better to be taught the truth than to experience it yourself.

Years and years ago, the young daughter of a friend who shall remain nameless suddenly said "Baby baby baby" one day. Hopefully your kid won't learn the words "stud" or "pimp."

By the way: You have my vote officially. I started voting today.

OE: I won't be able to control all the words my kid learns on the playground. All I hope to do is make him understand why they're bad.

Leslie: Noooo! I was going to urge people to vote for YOU so you can win. You have the best chance! Ah well, Mommy bloggers are just too darned nice to compete, that's all I can say.

Leslie, I just read your blog post. I'm so sorry to see you're dropping out of the competition and password-protecting the blog. I'll email you offline.

Hang in there.

Oh boy! Words... then sentences. These are things I have to look forward to! Thanks for the laugh!!!

Marie: It gets funnier as they get more talkative. There are girls in his pre-school class who will narrate their whole day to you, if you can keep from cracking up.
